Is this a common problem ELS v6 crashes often?

Does version 5 do the same? If not where can I download it?

All versions of ELS are unstable as full intended functionality doesn't work on any of them. So consider it an alpha/beta test mod at all times. I put up with the crashes because it adds another degree of realism for me.

I installed ELS V6, but there is a weird bug: When I press a button to start the lights working or something on the control panel, the LIGHT BAR starts to flashes but like disappear, appear, disappear, appear and the whole light bar. At a patriot, the BUMBER started to do this, so all these things are weird for me. Anything what I can do? (I have LCPDFR 0.95 installed too)

ELS is supposed to be used with ELS enabled cars, not the default cars. Disable the default cars in the ELS.ini.

I use v5.It's more stable than v6.
