Need Help With Lights and Siren Control

Featured Replies

Hey guys, I've been looking everywhere, does anyone know or can anyone make a script that will allow the regular GTA IV emergency lights to operate independently of the sirens, and if you know of one or can make one, can it be so the lights don't cause people to pull over, and lights with sirens will?

I'm not much into GTA IV modding, but for it not to pull cars over, I think it would have to be like ELS, with illuminated (can't find another word for it) textures. But if that isn't that big of a deal, LCPD:FR already has a function to operate the lights without turning the siren on.

The / key? Yeah, that does just lights, but unfortunately it still causes vehicles to pull to the side fo the road, which screws up traffic stops. Was hoping for something that just turns on the lights but doesn't cause motorists to react.

go to GPM..download ELS V5 or V6...and there is no problem..if i understand good....and if you want to activate the "ELS System" Press J for PRIMARY LIGHTS and "K" For Secondary Lights ....is this good?

Nope, I got rid of ELS V6 because it was crashing too much, and the AI doesn't use ELS properly with V5, so I decided to just get modified cars that use the in game lighting. I found a couple of nice models that look pretty nice, however, when I conduct a traffic stop,I have to do it without lights as the in game siren causes cars to pull over and mess up the traffic stop. Also when I leave the lights going after I get out of the car, when I get back in the siren sets off. I'm just looking for a script of some sort that will allow the lights to flash without causing traffic to pull over, and activate the siren when I want them to while not conducting traffic stops. Probably a tall order, but I'm so fed up with ELS, even though it does make the game look simply amazing, its just too unstable in V6, and V5 is utilized properly by AI.

Why not use thr Lcpd light modes? think its toggled with " , " ?

This point was already brought up and refuted.

@Break

He doesn't want to use the LCPDFR lighting modes because they still interrupt traffic.
