  • Rockstar is a brilliant company and they've had loads of success with the GTA titles in the past. I think that a PC version is definitely planned and will be released several months after the console

They don't consider it one, nor do they consider it a primary platform. That's been stressed very heavily in the past, and is also hinted in this message. That being said, don't read too much into their response one way or the other. They're likely being literal in saying that they're not ready to consider whether to re-release it for other platforms or not.

It's coming sure on the ps3 and xbox360. Maybe on next-gen consoles.

I'm think that GTA V also comes on PC. But I think thats like 6 months later, like gta IV :wallbash: .

Hope this helped  .

  • 3 months later...

Hopefully, or this whole deal here will be a GTA 4 exclusive then.

Then again ... I wonder how this may work, seeing that, apparently, GTA 5 Multiplayer seems more "separate", if you know what I mean. I guess we have to see how modifications will be handled in / for 5.

I've got to the wikia section for GTAIV and it says the release dates for the PC version are TBA in each country...so I'm guessing so. What I want to know is if the developers will make a LSPDFR since it is in Los Santos rather than Liberty City.

Shouldn't it be SAPDFR though since it;s San Andreas?

If you don't know there is a SAPD:FR, for GTA:SA, so I would believe that they would make something to the nature of LSPD:FR, but there is always a possibility that may happen though.

I've seen the staff calling it LSPD:FR   in other posts  explaining that they won't know until they know if its gonna be moddable on PC

Besides  LSPD:FR has a much better ring to it then SAPDFR

and San Andreas police department  First response doesn't make sense or have a ring to it

Also the Cops shout Los Santos PD pull over etc when Chasing you   and there is all the matter of the country side Blaine County

think of it real  world I'll use my state PA  not  every local agency and city goes running around saying Pennsylvania police pull over etc.   and it wouldn't make sense it only works for state trooper's to say it

I heard something about the 22. of November this year, but no one knows for sure

The last I have heard is that GTA V will be released for the PC in march or april 2014.

We won't know anything until R* releases an official date.
