Still have my doubts this will ever get released it was what 9-12 months ago when you did the survey and you only started working on it 3 weeks ago.

 

If y'all were truly deciated to releasing this game you woulda started 6 months ago and being doing it full time

 

 

Couple of suggestions off the top of my head

 

would be a police station like real life with different police cars in the parking lot  and different cars to go with the different divisions you can play as

police station with a kinda to a interactive inside  and snice you can play different things like swat maybe sub stations

ability to call / get back up like in real life

We will consider any kind of publishing methods when time comes, including Steam Greelight. This is something to study.

This weekend I talked to my partner about the game and how this can be official in my company, at least, to finish.

I was very clear when I said this project was just a "for fun" project to me. Consider the survey in the past a total diferent thing, right now this is my hobby and yes, you can ask if this will ever be finished... can't answer you that. You guys imagine the work on a full game to finish? I work with small games for 3 years now, even small games are really  dificult sometimes. The good news is: maybe we will turn this into a official project, no matter what... :)

And thanks for the tips, I think diferent police cars and nice police stations is very welcome to the game (same of the other tips).

 

So, for now, every suggestion is welcome, I will try to put features in the game that a good police game should have.

 

If I may suggest something: I think it would be great to have an extensive simulation of every day police life. So not just callouts that take only 3-5 minutes as with lcpdfr, but rather realistic tasks. We don't need 3 hours or more of a criminal holding hostages in a bank and threatening to kill them. But still why not do it in 20 minutes? Call for backup, place road barriers, call ambulances, SWAT etc. Negotiate with the criminal, coordinate units who finally storm the bank. Comfort the victimes, give short answers to the press, remove all police equipment like barriers, cars, officers etc. I know this is a lot to ask for, but perhaps in the future you will be able to do it.

Imagine, real-life like police chases where the chase takes 30mins - 1+hrs & goes from (possibly) city to city, involving different patrol cars, *shivers in excitement* ooh, I can't wait

That is going to be awesome, although you'll have to be careful with the degradation time from 100%-0%, don't want to end up starving half-way thru a 1hr chase now do we? :P

Not sure if this was mentioned already, but I think a cool idea would be a tutorial in the beginning as a kind of "police academy" or an FTO type of thing where you ride with a senior guy to learn how to play.
