Multiple editions with bonus content for pre-orders / more expensive boxes ? Well, I don't really like that, we have too much "incomplete" games now, thanks to EA, Ubisoft, and some others.   I don

  • I'm really, really disappointed that rockstar is giving preorders in-game advantages and special content. I don't want to pay twice the price for the full game, outrageous.

  • Disappointing they went down the path of in-game content for the special editions.  I got the GTA IV special edition with the soundtrack and duffel bag, it was pretty decent and I still have all the s

Huhhh, that's like living always in your house without exiting xDD

Neither I do play GTA multiplayer. Instead, if IV - and I guess V -  was more similar to SAMP, which supported custom scripts, vehicle models and skins without making crash the game and which allowed a deeper RP experience I'd probably use it.

I'm kinda pissed off because of R* decission of releasing this exclusive content (which will probably added in later pay DLC). This is what the video game is becoming into, releasing half completed game and making you pay for shit that should be there since the beginning.

I don't see how the normal release is "half of the game." The only things you get for the special edition are: artwork, a blueprint map, special ability boost (each character's special ability goes up faster, which is why Sam said it will be easier for people with this version), stunt plane trials (agreed that this should be in the normal game, but whatever), bonus outfits, tattoos, and more (there will still be plenty in the normal game), additional weapons (only a pistol, shotgun, and hammer - there will still be plenty in the normal game). Everything listed are things that should be in a special version of the game and not in the normal game. It wouldn't make sense for it to be in the regular game.

In the collectors edition, there's the security deposit bag and key, a hat, custom characters for online (from previous games), unique vehicles and garage property. You instantly receive a garage for custom cars, which leads me to believe you will be able to have a similar garage in the normal game eventually. This garage comes with a special hot rod and "sports bike" (motorcycle or bicycle? I'm not sure, but I'm guessing motorcycle) and an electric car for online only. The characters and cars are unique, again things that should only be in a special version of the game and not the normal one.

You get the blimp no matter what version you pre-order, including normal retail version.

I honestly don't see what the problem is here.

The pre-order stuff sounds cool, except for the blimp part.  Who the hell cares about flying a blimp?  Why would you want to fly a blimp anyhow?  Sounds gay as hell.
