Yes, 7. It's showing up as a 'file' when I check the download, then asking me what program to use to open it.

 

Also coming up as an 'un-verified publisher' after download, idk if that has anything to do with it.

 

hmmm.... is there anyway that you can take a picture of it? I cant recreate the problem, so ill have to see it from your end....

 

The unverified publisher just means that i am not a microsoft developer, it doesnt mean anything

Yes, and to be sure it's not my end, I tried downloading another .exe mod:

The file was edited and is pending re-approval. I had to do it to try to ensure that everyone was able to download the program. So i place the application in a folder, then created a .rar file for it, and reuploaded it. So as soon as its reapproved then you will be able to download it

It was made in studio.... but i tested it multiple times on 2 different computers that do not have studio installed and they worked just fine

You can run VB programs without Visual Studio. All you need is the .NET Redistributable (which you have if LCPDFR works on your computer, and is a standard thing to be installed on Windows).

Opened right up this time.

Make it generate random names and store all those names in the server. They will all have random backgrounds. But the officer can also add stuff to their background, and it will actually stay there.

 

That's actually a really good idea. It generates a random first and last name, then randomly generates their other information as well as registration status, warrents, etc. It then saves that information to an online database which can be called from anybody using the program to report back in on things. I can think of how to do something like this via. PHP for example, but I wouldn't know how to go about doing it with C++.
