This!

It gives you several options.

You can have up to 8 diffrent Audio Channels in one Recording by that you will have (for example) 1 Audio for the Game Sound and another one for the Mic/Headset. Which helps you edit your Videos a lot better in terms of Audio.

+ It has a Benchmark Test for your diffrent Harddrives. So you'll see how fast the Program will Record on your HDD

+ Lots of Options (But there are all easy to understand)

+ Two Several FPS Overlays (Ingame it shows you the Current Game FPS as well as the FPS you're recording with)

+ You can Color those Overlays anyway you want

+ Profiles for diffrent Games - That means you can save you recording Settings you are using for GTA IV and still have some diffrent Setting when recording something else

The only downside is:

- You can only Record Games that are using Direct X

- The dxtory Codec makes ridiculously large Files (BUT you can select a diffrent one [i would recommend using the Lagarith Lossless Codec])

@HolyOrangeJuice

I had the same Problem first but there are some easy fixes for that

1) Make sure you have selectet at least 2 Cores at "Proccesing Threads" at the Advanced Settings Tab

2) Make sure you don't check the Frame Limiter

3) Make sure "Synchronize Video FPS" isn't checked

4) Switch to the "Lagarith Lossless Codec" ( http://lags.leetcode.net/codec.html ) - This one helped me a lot

5) By the Time you have that click on the Codec Configuration Menu (Thats the little pen or whatever the hell that is on the Movie Tab) And select YV12 Mode and enable "Use Multithreading"

That did it for me

  • a little bit but it depends on your system and what setting you use to record you should just try it since its free...also it shows you when you are recording with a red circle in the corner bandicam

I hope you don't mind me putting my two cents in.  After years of using Fraps I came across Action! mentioned in steam.  After looking around the website I decided to throw some money their way and haven't looked back.  This is the website http://mirillis.com/en/products/action.html .  Because of this topic I quickly exported a video that I had recently done.  I haven't even experimented with the exporting and what is the best so I just used 1080i and uploaded it to youtube.  The raw video is 7.42 gigs which is actually smaller than if I used fraps.  Exporting it in 1080i reduced it down to 297MB and that is what I uploaded to youtube.  There are some fantastic features in this software and so many options.  You not only have game recording but also active desktop and active desktop region.  Check out the screenshots and features over at the website, I personally believe it is well worth the money. By the way, that's not what I really sound like.  I like developing characters and this is one that I'm working on, Jake and Jake Jr aka JJ.  This actually looks better at youtube and remember this has not been through any video editor.  It's just a straight export and upload

I tried to use it, but my game just closes when I launch it :

iEcosan I don't remember what the default keys are for Action as I have changed all of them.  On the options tab, cog wheel on the left, look in the Hotkeys Settings, keyboard icon to the left.  Check in there to make sure you have no conflicts with any ini settings for mods/scripts.
