Zmodeler for beginner?

Featured Replies

There is no "how to" guide and its really impossible to show someone the basics. It would take hours since its not a "basic" program. Its hard, takes a lot of time and is very tedious. Its very hard to learn at first but once you figure things out it gets easier, but its not something your going to figure out in 3 hours. Count on a solid month or two before you would have any work worth releasing. I'm not trying to discourage you, I just wanted to tell you the truth. If your serious about it, you'll take the time and figure it out. It is possible to teach yourself, I did

I can also vouch for that. It does take some time, but if you really dedicate the time to it, it's pretty worth it.

Hi, I was thinking about possibly getting into some modeling with Zmodeler and want to know the basic about it and and just some things about it, I wouldn't start off making big things of course, but small things or anything basic. Thanks.

So i'm no modeler and I'm guessing with Nickieb and Fox said is true. Hoever look in the tutorial section on the site. there are a few tutorials by hslavior about a few basic things like adding a lightbar!

Thanks, I saw in the tutorials that you put up one here http://www.lcpdfr.com/page/tutorials/index.action/_/vehicle-modification-tutorial/basics-of-adding-materials-importing-models-correct-hierarchy-and-exporting-in-zmodeler-r25 but then toke it down. It seemed like it would be a helpful one, do you know when it will be back up?

I can help you if you want. I always need help making mods.  If i had sombody else then i could get mods out faster.  Wanna help me on the puc?

I would except it seems a little harder then I thought after going through the tutorials, so I think I will stick with textures.

Its really not that hard when you get the hang of. I was like you about a year ago. Clueless.
