Question for everyone???

I don't know what kind of Hollywood crap your University is using to teach you about the American Criminal Justice system, but it's wrong. Also, the local, state, and federal, jurisdictions are clearly laid out. And while you may get the occasional head-bumping between some agencies, most play along together very well.

Easy, I didn't mention any Hollywood crap like you so elegantly put it. It isn't the university that teaches us about the USA system. We are tought by guest professors

from the country itself when dealing with foreign policing models. The one from the USA mentioned problems like jurisdiction, too much use of guns and tasers, sentencing problems, etc.

Believe me when I say that Belgium is crap compared to the USA model but you do have to face the fact that the US criminal justice system is far from perfect.

I'd love to have a comparison and discuss the pros and cons but that would just be plain boring for most of the people on this forum ;-)

I didn't say it was perfect. But those guest professors are wrong, I'm sorry they've mislead you.

I can only say what he said to us. You didn't have to vote my post down for believing an American professor.

I'm only trying to have a decent conversation.

I didn't vote your post down.

Then I believe an apology is in place. Clearly, someone voted it down without knowing what I was talking about.

Are you still insinuating that I marked down your post? Grow up, kid.

That was a sincere apology. Don't be so jumpy man :-)

Btw, I'm a third grade university student so I think I've already grown up:p

Perhaps I misunderstood you. I thought that you were saying an apology was due from me. I guess not?

i know what was Red Army URSS Stalin Innocent People dies=36 Million:O and Hitler in 6 years 1939-1945 he kills only Jew's Gipsy's 6 Million...

Yep, Stalin was a mass killer. Anyways, they had a great army.

A great Army which was purged about 7 times, was full of drunk people, rapists and murders, which were poorly equipped, so poorly that in the second world war german were running out of ammo because so many russians were sent into battle without guns. No the red army definitely wasn't great, though it had large numbers of people, which eventually under high casualities made it victorious. The US Army, the British Army and the German Army were much better trained and equiped than the red army.

But they were more. Everyone has a different point of view. And if the Russians were a piece of shit why the Americans feared them? And also... Germany pushed into Russia, and killed Russians, and the USSR in return pushed into Germany and did the same they did.

i just can tell what my german gradpa told me (he was a prisioner of war in russia for 4 years)

he told me "the only reason the russians could beat the germans was because of 2 things: 1. the fucking cold weather over there (he told me one of the other soldiers froze to death) and 2th: there was a big problem with suplys for the germans in russia.

thats what he told me.

he also told me in prison it was like hell. but he never told anything more. he just diden't had the energy to told me what happend. and after a while i stopt asking

That's partly true xGessx, just with the exception that I wasn't talking about Germany in specific (Just to tell you, the Russians didn't "push" into much of Germany, they got Berlin and a radius of aprox 200km). The Red Army raped and stole what they could find in any country they passed through, you can read that up. And they were feared because they would just send hundrets of people as cannonfudder, enough people that the other army would run out of ammo on all the people that were running towards them. And well, I don't think the Red Army was feared by the Americans, after all they were allies :) If that topic interests you, you should definitely read a lot about it, like I did.

@JetlinerX: The French don't fit in here because they didn't play an important role in the WWII.
