So you're saying that there's really no way at all for criminals to get guns in/into the UK if they REALLY wanted one? Though you're not too far off on the fact that people might get 'shot' often in the US, but you're also talking a country of 313 million people across something like 3.8 million Sq miles, compared to the 62~ million and 94 thousand Sq miles of the UK :P

Noooooooo! To even imply that would be naive if not stupid however, you don't often get a Police officer shot in the UK as the criminal element tend to use their guns on each other! (Which is kind of a relaxing thought =P) of course you can get them just not as easily or readily availabe. Which is why a lot of fake guns (BB Guns) are used in crimes invovling firearms in the UK.
