I am having MAJOR issues...my games gets MAJOR city bug after 20 mins and then freezes and stops responding.

Ive reinstalled the game 15+ times reloaded my windows 7 home premium, danced on my head and anything else I can think of. I know it has to do with LCPDFR or my mods.

My mods are: LCPDFR (newest), RCMP PACK 6.5, Indicator, braveheart (newest), trainer, els, das

My specs:

Intel core 2 quad q6600 @2.4 GHz

4 GB (3.12 usable)

32 bit OP system

Windows 7 home premium SRV PK 1

Nvida Gforce 610 1 GB video card

I also did a benchmark and I run at 32 fps on low, 32 on med, and 34 on high (I lag out in game on high graphics lol)

my game uses between 80-100% cpu

any help would be GREAT!!! thanks

You need at last 8 GB of Ram. What are the mods you have installed? Do you have modded cars?

No, you don't really need 8GB of RAM. Of course it would be great, but that's not an obligation, see my specs on my profile.

But if you can, upgrade your Windows to a 64bits version, because you have 4GB of RAM but 32bits only uses 3GB.

The problems on your PC are : too weak CPU, too weak GPU (the Gforce610 is a Gforce520 with a new name, a low end graphic card, nVidia do this often, AMD too, but less often).

LCPDFR itself is not an issue, but try to remove some scripts like ELS, DAS, and try to tweak a bit Braveheart policing script (I assume that's the one you're talking about).

They need some resources and your PC can't handle that well. Almost ELS I think.

EDIT : I forget : try some low-poly cars instead of huge packs.

When you can, buy (build yourself it's cheaper and greater) a good gaming PC. There's in our forums.

I am thinking it is the 32 bit...I had windows 7 ultimate 64 bit last time...I don't buy that my comp is to small or to weak cuz I ran GTA IV with more mods and everything before I got a big virus...that seems to be the only issue...I also don't think that is the issue cuz I used a 2 gb video card (don't remember the name but it was WAY more than I needed) and 6 gigs of ram...I will try and install 64 bit on my computer....thank you :)

having a 64 bit computer wont change anything, GTA IV is a X86 game, which is 32bit. The 2.4Ghz processor is a little slow, 4GB is a little small while using ELS and High Poly Cars. (I have 6GB RAM and I still get texture loss, but it usually takes 30 mins to an hour) I use to run GTA IV on 2 X 1GB vid cards, but one died, I did notice a loss of quality, but it's still able to run.

Lower your in-game settings and use Cikamaru's (sp?) Real Traffic.  It will kill the taxi bug and texture loss bug at the same time.  I get major texture bug with Traffic Flow and not as bad with Traffic Load but it's still there.  Keep traffic density under 20 and distance and detail sliders under 20-25.

Good luck,

your processor is nto the issue its ram and video card a good 2 gb card pci express would be good ddr3 or better.

for your ram i went from 4 to ten and its a vast improvement just my 2 cents

Good to know. I did have 6 gigs but I think one of the sticks died so maybe I will increase my ram. I forgot that the only 2 things that changed was going from win 7 ultimate to win 7 home premium and going from 6 gigs to 4 gigs...I am going to go to 8 gigs and see if that helps. I understand my cpu is a little on the low end but for some reason I NEVER had issues until AFTER my wipe and reload. I could play with even more mods than what I do know and never crashed or lost graphics. Thank you to all who are giving advice I really appreciate it :)
