BRAVEHEARTS 2.42 CRASHES MY GAME?? ANYONE ELSE?

If you want help, you should probably turn off the caps key. And please post this in the correct section next time.

Sticks and stones may break bones, but 5.56 fragments on impact.

Because typing in all caps is considered shouting, and talking like that to a mod is disrespectful and not going to get you any help. There are options such as windows on screen keyboard to shut off the caps lock.

EDIT* also if you look in the scripthookdotnet.log it might give you some information that you can post to actually get support. Try updating your scripthook to the latest version 1.7.1.7 this seems to be a common cause of problems.

The scripthook that came with LCPD:FR is out of date now, and all scripters are using the latest version, this is causing a few issues with people.

No doubt the next version of LCPD:FR will also be using the latest Scripthook.

Not everyone's using the new scripthook: Abraxas is actually moving to 1.7.1.4.

delta412: Fix your caps lock before you post again. This is not a request.

cp702 I've made PoliceHelper compatible with 1.7.1.4 ONLY because many users was unable to install latest version and I was tired of constant complains. I would recommend 1.7.1.7 too. Next LCPD:FR will most likely include custom scripthook based on 1.7.1.7.

This would definitely explain some crashes lol

Wait but if policehelper only works with 1.7.1.4 then installing 1.7.1.7 would make PoliceHelper not function properly?

1.7.1.7 only adds new features IIRC not takes some away.

Ya I had a brain fart but it clears it up for anyone who might have been confused about that lol

And just a shout out to Braveheart the 2.4.2 is actually really cool and works great on my setup with Abraxas's awesome police helper.

As a scripter, 1.7.1.7 is way nicer to work with. However, Faracus said "all scripters are using 1.7.1.7", which isn't actually the case.
