Rage Plugin Hook keeps deleting itself after I restart my PC

Featured Replies

Hi y'all,

while the question "why does RPH delete itself" has been asked lately, everyone fixed it with either turning off their 3rd party AV (which I don't have) or make an eception in the windows defender. I did the latter and RPH as well as the LSPDFR install .exe still gets deleted if I reboot my PC.

Is there any way to fix that or do I have to tediously re-download and reinstall LSPDFR every time I boot my PC?

Thanks for the replies beforehand!

Greetings from Germany

What happens if you download the manual install of LSPDFR, disable your Windows Defender for a moment, then install the contents of the downloaded file into your main directory and start RPH? All before turning Windows Defender on again.

The only reason I see why RPH would get deleted is either Windows Defender or a third party software.

Thank you for your replies. I didn't know I had do not only make an exception in the windows defender for the folder, as well as the .exe of RPH. Now it's working without an issue. :D

Again thank you very much.

Cheers!
