With the new update, I downloaded the LSPDFR file from the official website; however, Windows reports that it has detected a Trojan within the file. When I scanned the downloaded file on the VirusTotal website, it also indicated that there are two detections. Could you please assist me regarding this issue?

I have been using LSPDFR for a very long time. In the past, my computer also detected Trojan threats in LSPDFR files, and I had to format my system; I was only able to remove them using Kaspersky.

I have downloaded and used your previously released versions as well, but I did not encounter this issue with those versions. I have not made any changes to my computer. The files I used in the update prior to the latest release did not trigger any such warnings.

My Windows installation is always up to date, and I have not changed any antivirus or security settings. I also scanned these files on VirusTotal, where detections are reported as well.

I kindly request that the update files be reviewed.

If you don't trust it, you will have to remove LSPDFR and not use it for the time being.

I'm surprised you've not encountered this before then. It tends to happen that Windows Defender doesn't like an RPH update about 10% of the time, we last had a big false detection at the end of 2024, pretty much the same as this.

We end up flagging the false detection to Microsoft, who then unflags it on their end.
We don't make any changes on our end because there's no change for us to make on our end.
