Hello! I had a wonderful lspdfr session on the 11th of January, I tried to hop back into the game at the 15th and RPH refuses to work, I did everything, verify my game files, try to launch it while in story mode, re-install the game in the same directory, move the main game files into a new directory with no mods with it so it is technically a fresh game and nothing worked.

Finally yesterday I decided to completely factory reset my pc in hopes that it would fix the issue and unfortunately it did not. I am also unable to seek help from the official RPH server as it is too moderated and the developers do not check the support and there isn't any way you could open a special tickets for example and let the devs closely help you.

I seek your knowledge here, much appreciated to anyone.

I can have a look and try to narrow down the issue. Can you upload your most recent RagePluginHook.log from your main game folder?

Okay so what way did you have the game when it was working on the 11th? Do you have full read/write permissions for your game folder?

Just to mention as well we are not affiliated with the RPH Discord server so I cannot comment on that.

Unfortunately it does not provide any logs yet, I knew that by of course observing what happens and by asking gemini AI aswell, I took the error code and asked it to help me understand what the error code means.

The game was working completely fine on the 11th, plugins, dispatches, addon car packs, you name it I had it installed and was running flawlessly.

I do not understand your "Read/write permission" this is due to of course me resetting my pc so it is a fairly new pc with zero corrupt files. I will attach below a screenshot of my directory and will also put my microsoft visuals c++ programs that I have installed.

I believe I do have all the requirements as per the RPH official website.

If it is not producing logs it is not running properly, try adding -log to the RPH commandline options and upload the RPH launcher log.

In terms of read/write, go to the game folder's properties, security, advanced, and then make sure you have full permissions. Also you might need to add the game folder as an exception in your antivirus/windows defender.

What exactly is happening? Is the game crashing?

I have created a shortcut of Ragepluginhook and added the command line that you have stated in the target in the properties menu. I will attach below the log file and let you know.

I have also given full control to my user, the game itself works fine, online works, everything, even mods that I download via openiv like graphics mods in the oiv file format, addon cars, menyoo, they all work fine, but of course lspdfr won't load at all.

I have also made sure that no .dll file is blocked as per gemini ai & chatgpt when I asked them about the .net framework error code and what it means.

I will also attach a notepad with the specific error code that I get by in the event viewer.

Okay so I see you are on Epic games, does RPH work if you load into singleplayer normally, and then start RPH? We recommend that for Epic users.

Do you have any other anti-virus installed?

Ai won't be any help to you with LSPDFR problems, they might make things worse even.

The launcher is reporting illegal characters in the GTA V file path, what is the full path to your game folder?

Unfortunately, RPH is refusing to even execute the command and launch even when in single player, I will attach below a screenshot showcasing what I am talking about. I also do not have anti-virus software installed yet as after the factory reset my only concern is to get RPH going and running.

Actually AI unfortunately did not help yes but it brought my attention to a missing file/software named (SlimDX) that I had missing, that is of course thanks to you and your trick by creating a shortcut then adding the "-log" after the target, this created for me a log file in-which I was able to conclude that in-fact (SlimDX) software was missing and I was able to download it. Unfortunately it still gave me the same system argument illegal path error. 😅

Mind you as well I even tried creating a new user for my pc name "Moradzo", thinking that would perhaps help as per Chatgpt yet it did nothing as well.

There's a large amount of RPH files which are missing from your game folder, a bunch of EasyHook, Mono dlls, System.ValueTuple, etc. Copy all files from the package.

I was just chatting with gemini AI by google trying to perhaps see if this AI model would think differently from chat gpt and it brought my attention to testing out RPH in the C:drive and checking if maybe the corrupt pathway is only in the D:drive, turns out it most likely is. When I launch the it stays in the Apps sections in the task manager and not in the background process, perhaps this is a success?

If the problem is with my D:drive I can completely empty it out moving the important files to my C:drive like the vanilla GTA game and back into the D:drive once it's fresh and empty, I honestly do not wish to permanently move my GTA to my C:drive because as you know to get the best experience from GTA & LSPDFR you need a colossal amount of mods, of course downloading mods from a secure site like LSPDFR.com decreases significantly the chances of getting a virus but still I would rather have the game in my D:drive just to be extra safe.

The following screenshots both show RPH in c:drive and D:drive, if that means a thing, most likely that the corruption is in my D:drive.

The thing is when I factory reset my PC I choose to completely wipe my files and everything, not sure of perhaps Onedrive sync cloud saved and downloaded older corrupt files (maybe) which is most likely the case as per Gemini AI.

There's still files missing from that folder. e.g. LMS.Common.dll.

The files that ship with RPH + LSPDFR are not optional. All of them most go in your game folder.

Well yeah, because I only installed RPH and not LSPDFR normal/manual install. I am only testing out RPH.

Anyways, I have now installed LSPDFR (the latest version of course) and have installed it in both the C:drive to test out RPH itself and the D:drive, long story short the D:drive gives out the same log and fails to execute the first command, I have also failed to find any registry for Rage plugin hook which most likely concludes that the programs fails to execute before creating any logs or anything like it never happened.

Supposing that most likely it is a corrupt pathway in my D:drive,

would perhaps moving the Vanilla game files (That includes Gtav.exe, play_GTAV and all x64 files) to the desktop which is located in my C:drive then completely erasing my D:drive then re-installing all my launcher and and moving back the game into my D:drive and verifying it with Epic Games, fix the issue of the corrupt files?

Neither are going to work without the other, you have to install all files in your game folder

The program is failing because you have it installed incorrectly. RPH will not run on its own, in its own folder. I can only be used in the GTA V folder.

I don't recommend erasing your D: drive, it won't fix the issue. I do however recommend you starting from scratch. Start with a fresh install of GTA V, then install all the files in the LSPDFR installation, and because you are on epic games, load into singleplayer normally, and then start RPH.

I don't think this will have any impact on RPH not working

I have already installed the game like 3 times now, 2 times out of the 3 were on the new factory reset, the freshest was today actually, just over 6 hours ago, so it is the freshest it can be, with a click of a button I can click uninstall lspdfr and all the lspdfr & rph files will be gone, and it takes a long time to download the game due to the poor 30mbps internet in my country that comes with a limited monthly quota aswell so the download takes roughly 12-15 hours per 1 install, so by now I have wasted over 35 hours punching a hole basically.

For clarification, the auto installer is very simple and I follow all the instructions, I carefully choose the installation path for lspdfr being into my D: drive -> Epic games -> GTAV then install, I completely accept all the terms and conditions and simply try to run the program for a good hour or two of gaming just to be struck by an error that apparently has zero fixes on the internet yet and what is driving me crazy is that it was working just fine a few days ago...

Okay so when you want to start with a fresh install you don't need to delete the entire game, you can delete all the modded files, or modified files, and the verify your game files via Epic/Rockstar Launcher to recover anything missing

Okay so installing older versions is not going to help in any case, and the latest RPH version comes with LSPDFR on this site, so don't use any other versions.

Does your game work normally if you don't run RPH?

Alright, I will attach below a screenshot of my current game directory, if you are able to inform me if the current screenshot of the game directory completely free of modded/unnecessary files and is eligible to become a fresh install after verification or not.

To answer your question. No, I was just being ironic of the current situation that I was in for a good gaming time but the errors keeps popping up and rph refuses to launch.

Yes! The game runs flawlessly without rph, I can play online, story mode and even play with mods installed via OPENIV of course, mods like graphics mods, add-on cars, replacement cars and menyoo trainer. But when I try to launch RPH to play lspdfr it doesn't execute at all and doesn't launch, it even fails to create a registry and log files, therefore I have to make a shortcut of the app and add a command for that shortcut to create a log file in-which the log file gives the same illegal pathway error. This is also a legal copy of gtav not a pirated one, so everything should and was fine until a few days ago when it stopped working all of a sudden

For example; if I were to download let's say any road enhancement mods, graphic mods that are in the format of OIV which is the format you download via OPENIV, the mods are installed in-game because they do not require RPH. Any mods that require RPH simply of course won't work because RPH refuses to even launch.

Once you have informed me of the current state of my game directory if it is eligible for verification or not, I will verify the game and re-install LSPDFR & RPH and send a video via Medal Link, a quick 30sec clip showcasing exactly what happens.

Okay, we need to start over because I'm not sure what exactly you have done to your game.

and then run it and upload the RPH log, do not install any other mods, only LSPDFR and RPH

I noticed that there are no 'mods' folders in any of your screenshots, did you use OpenIV's mod folder option or did you edit the original RPF files?

Right so, thankfully rage plugin hook is now working but in the loading screen as soon as the Rockstar logo appears the game crashes.
