I recently tried to join an MP Game and it said "Unable to connect to game session"

Thoughts?

Same problem, its only because the mods of the other players i think

Make sure everyone has forwarded their ports, it'll boost the connection quality and reduce the chances of these errors.

 

Ports:

udp 3074
udp 88
tcp 3074

I forgot to add that people also can't join my games either

Tried adding these ports on my router.

The only places that have port fields on my router are:

 

- Advanced> Virtual Server (Virtual Server is used to allow Internet users access to LAN services.)

- Advanced>Applications (Special Application is used to run applications that require multiple connections.)

 

Which one would I add the ports listed above to?

vir. server

In my Vir. Server area, the fields are (from top to bottom):

 

- Name

- Private IP

- Protocol Type (TCP, UDP, Both)

- Private Port

- Public Port

 

I've added all the ports listed above, and have used my PC's IP listed on the router config area, and used that for "Private IP"

However, it still doesn't work

For Private IP what would I put? I tried 0.0.0.0. Wouldn't let me use that IP of 0

What would I put for private IP?

I put my PC's IP, the first time, but it changed, so putting my PC's IP, as private IP, doesn't work because it changes each time I start my PC

This is a late reply, but I solved the MP Problem.

I had to get a Static IP from my ISP.
