Hello, can't seem to figure out how to fix this. If I activate the intimidation mode through LSPDFR and then aim, it pulls out my marksman pistol. I use the marksman pistol as a lidar gun... I'm trying to pull out my combat pistol

if there is a .ini file for it, you should be able to change it there. Personally i dont know as i dont use the plugin.

Which ini file are you referring to?

idk, as said i dont use the plugin so idk if it does have a .ini or not.

I'm talking about a built in lspdfr function, not a plugin

ok sorry ik what your talking about now. Did you use the LSPDFR Auto or Manual install?

Why do you keep asking which way LSPDFR was installed? I don't see that being the cause for this issue here at all.

@Narobic did you make any changes to any .ini after installing the lidar gun mod? Stop The Peds realistic weapon system for example? Or LSPDFR's loadout.xml?

i always ask, the auto install seems to have some issues in my opinion. Uninstalling it and reinstalling the Manual version usually fixes any issues if there is nothing wrong in the log etc. Idk if its a coincidence but its always worked for me.

I have the realistic weapon system on, I have the combat pistol set as my default weapon in STP.

 

All my changes to the loadout.xml seem to be overwritten by STP

 

Replacing the combat pistol with the default pistol in STP seems to fix it, but I don't want to use the default pistol as my weapon model is built for the combat pistol

I removed the marksman pistol from the inventory.xml file and it will default to my combat pistol... however when i equip the marksman pistol using the lidar gun plugin shortcut, LSPDFR will prioritize quick drawing the marksman pistol over drawing the combat pistol

What if you completely disable stop the peds realistic weapon system and instead use the LSPDFR XML files to create your loadout, does that work?

I completely disabled STP and it still defaults to pulling out my marksman pistol when I use the quickdraw. It's like LSPDFR recognizes the marksman pistol before the combat pistol

This is from the Lidar gun download page, how about you try a different weapon slot?

The lidar gun model I use if for the marksman pistol, can you just change the weapon name and it works?

If you rename it properly, yes.

I renamed it to a few different weapons and it all produced the same result unfortunately. My solution is to enable realistic weapons through STP and only disable it when I want to run some lidar on the highway. I appreciate all the help, perhaps this is something simple that can be fixed in the future like adding a "primary weapon" tag in the inventory.xml or something that always defaults to that for quickdraw.

I just installed the plugin myself and it's also using the holster animation for me. If it doesn't bother you, I'd just ignore it.
