  • Hello, for info I've also been working on such thing on my spare time...   All functionalities aren't completely finished but here is a screenshot of how it looks like :       (ps: it's not real

  • Are you auto-updating or manual updating?     This is a planned feature. I spent more time working on the script rather than the web component to get it out, now I am working on improving the map.

I would be interested in working with you. I have the EXACT idea, except its almost done...

I've already made everything you are describing here except haven't figured out how to make the in game part of this yet.

PM me to discuss further details!

I'm not putting a live map in game, I've got the script working in game, I'm not working on getting my live map set up and working.

I'm not looking to combine works.

I'm considering something like this for the Dispatchers, but I don't want them to have to spend the game outside of the game, and I don't want to burden them with such a heavy program to learn.

I might revisit this idea for a later version.

In other news.....Original Post Editied to show Upcoming Version plans.

Thanks, the Live Map is almost ready to release, so I hope that the project should be out soon so I can start working on the next project.

*EDIT* Also as our clan is looking in to using IV:MP all script will be developed for base GTA IV first, then converted to the squirrel programming required for IV:MP, and released for those server owners.

if I understood it well Faracus, Google map api works better with square for images.. you should maybe try making it square and center it correctly on your new jpg... And then you will also have to hope that it won't be too hard to convert GTA points to Google map points..

Good luck !

Also, apparently some think that my previous post was an advertisment... if you also feel this please just tell me and I remove it... Otherwise just tell if we can help :D

This sounds awesome!  What would be really cool is if you tied this into teamspeak's 3d sound system (like ACRE in ArmA II) so there is a good proximity chat system, where the closer you are to someone, the louder they are.

Thanks, this has to do with TS3's API and their 3D sound, I've not looked in to this, but it might be something I will thinking about in the future.

And in other news. BETA 2 is now live. Live map is running and being tested. Main post updated.
