3x ARMA III Alpha Lite giveaway

Featured Replies

Good day to you all.

Recently, I bought the ARMA III Alpha on Steam. Having played Arma II and Arma II Operation Arrowhead for countless of hours, it was only logical that I'd buy the alpha of one of the most anticipated PC games of 2013.

For those of you that don't know the ARMA series (for whatever reason that may be), ARMA III is the latest installment in Bohemia Interactive's popular tactical shooter/military simulator that is scheduled for a Q3 release.
For more information on the series, please check Bohemia Interactive's official website (http://www.bistudio.com/) or the ARMA 3 official website (http://www.arma3.com/).

Now for the most important part:

"While the Arma 3 Alpha leads Steam’s Top Sellers chart since launch, Bohemia Interactive today also made a free invite-only variant available. The Arma 3 Alpha Lite is a limited version of the Arma 3 Alpha – providing people with the opportunity to try out the singleplayer showcase missions, a selection of weapons and vehicles, and the scenario editor. Unlike the regular Arma 3 Alpha, the Arma 3 Alpha Lite does not feature a multiplayer component or modding support, and does not include access to the Arma 3 Beta and complete game later on. To participate in the Alpha Lite, people need to be invited by those who have purchased the regular Arma 3 Alpha. The Arma 3 Alpha Lite will be discontinued on June 18th, 2013."

Having bought the Alpha, I too received 3 Alpha Lite invites which I am prepared to give away for free to anyone interested. Although the Alpha lite does not have multiplayer and modding support, it may provide people with a free first look at the game.
The only thing you need to do to compete is send me a PM with the following information:
- Steam account
- Previously played Arma II or not? (Not just DayZ) If so, please elaborate.

To ensure that everyone gets an equal chance, I will randomly pick 3 users out of all the PM's after exactly 24 hours. After that, PM's regarding this giveaway will no longer be viewed. If, after 24 hours, no interest is shown into this giveaway, no harm done.

Please keep in mind that users with previous Arma experience will receive higher priority. In my humble opinion, this is only logical.
The three winners will be notified by PM.

Good luck to you all.

Update (8.15PM): The 24 hours during which you could participate in this giveaway are now over. I will be picking the 3 winners shortly and will notify them by PM. To those still interested in the ARMA III alpha lite, user "Knownwolf30" replied to this topic, stating he still has 2 invites left.

Update: user "Darkangel" will be giving away 1 Arma III alpha lite invite to one lucky person. All you have to do is comment on his video. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T_MiVG1Eyq0&feature=player_embedded)

Update: the three winners have been notified and the Alpha lites have been sent.
Thank you for participating!

P.S. If anyone is still interested in obtaining an alpha lite, Bohemia Interactive has provided Armaholic with 500 alpha lite invites. More information on how to participate can be found here: http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=19396

Members of the military can receive free copies of the Alpha and Beta (when it comes out). If you'd like to learn how, send me a PM. It will require your DoD ID number, however.
