So recently i had my internet off and wanted to play LSPDFR with BejoIjo's mods (Stop the ped, ultimate backup etc.) and when going on duty all of his mods decided to disable themselves because they couldnt "verify the version", which im assuming are the mod versions as they dont need to verify game version online.

This means you cannot play offline with them, and they are quite important for having a more immersive experience with LSPDFR.

Did we really reach a point where mods now need constant internet connections when they dont need to or am i missing something here?

Bejjoljo's mods rely on an internet connection to verify the plugin version, this isn't the case amongst many other plugins, but it's still a thing. Hopefully, by the end of the year, you all have a new plugin that replaces STP 👀

 

Anyways, unfortunately there is not much you can do other than have an internet connection when you load the game and those plugins, and wait for them to verify. You are able to play SP offline with them, you just need an internet connection (ridiculous to have an internet connection playing offline, I know lol)

In my opinion its not as good as STP and is missing some features, but it doesnt force internet connection.
