Thinking about creating a simple script mod that has to do with police, if you have any simple ideas then please leave a comment. Also i'm new to modding but I think I can get the hang of it, I've started looking up some tutorials so I think I'm starting to see what it's like. 

My best advice would be not to take any suggestions or advertise your skills unless you are confidant you can do it (with actual testing of your capabilities in game). A lot of people have been down that road before and have been in over their heads with requests.

I'm not going to do what people want, I just want some ideas and may release them if I feel so, and I know what you mean about a lot of people have been down this road before but im just trying to figure out some ideas since i'm stuck at what to do for my first simple mod .

I was thinking maybe just a simple script where you press certain keys and for example key (N), then it locks your car then press again and it unlocks it or like key (T), where you would press it and it fixes your police car easily without always having to go to the trainer to do it. Here what i'm thinking of some keys

 

H-Headlights

E-Engine On/Off

B-Lock/Unlock Car

Z-Seatbelt On/Off

T-Fix Car

A roadside drug-testing script, working like the breathalyser in Braveheart's Policing Script.

Head up to a stopped car (with a driver) or a ped and press a key, then you have to wait a few seconds and it will either say 'ALL CLEAR' or 'DETECTED PRESENCE OF ___' (an illicit drug like marijuana, ecstasy, meth amphetamines) etc. If possible and if you had the skill, a graphic interface where we could see a swab stick pop-up in the corner of the screen and either turn blue (indicates presence of the drug) or not change at all (all clear).

 

Reckon you can do it?

Any other ideas I could do? What do you think about the one I posted above?

Some car options like that would be cool but they're all pretty easy to do with SNT if someone has that installed already.

 

I can't think of much else that's simple at this stage. 

On the other hand, it'd probably be nice as a learning experience (and keybindings *would* be convenient).

How about being able to stop a person on foot in LCPDFR and being able to ask them a couple of simple questions and see what their responses would be if they were drunk, high, tired, scared... 

 

And your idea would be quite useful and if you can try to find keys that are not used by other mods but its still a great idea!
