so i purchased a rifle from ThinLineSanctuary and im looking to see if there's anyway i can force my Officer to be given that ADDON weapon instead of the carbine rifle? i went into the "StopThePed" INI to switch it there but im assuming since its an addon weapon it doesn't realize the weapon code and just replaces it with the basic carbine rifle. Any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you so much!

Have you tried using the addon name in the stp ini? I don’t see why it shouldn’t work.

 

You have to use the "spawn name" of that weapon, not the weapon's name itself. It's usually a different name.

 

Check the download package and look for references to "weapon spawn name," I have no idea what it is since I do not own that product. 

 

You can always reach out to their support team in discord, since it's a private paid mod.

i did use the Spawn name of the weapon in this mod it is "WEAPON_DD16_C" even after replacing "carbine rifle" with this new weapon spawn id, it still gives me the base carbine rifle for some reason.

yes i have, that's what's frustrating me as well! im not sure why it won't work.
