Is G17 IV Diagnostics updated?

Featured Replies

Just wondering because I seem to have everything installed, but when I run G17 I get this puu.sh/28G0x

I have the everything installed, the RC2 installer worked correctly and everything, I have my scripts/LCPDFR folder and stuff, and when I get in-game and hit ~ I can see the scripts have been loaded, but it doesnt seem to work unless I hit ctrl+P which then says "Force Duty". I know this isn't support but I can't post it there and I just wanna know if this stuff is up to date or what's going on with my game.

It's GTA IV, bought it from greenmangaming, by the way.

And that's my install folder.

I've tried that/ Nothing happens besides my game getting blurry. It's like quality switching for a flash game or something. Something definitely seems messed up as I have all the .dll files but the Diagnostic tool doesn't seem to register them, then when I get in-game it doesn't work at all.

Sorry, some of it works, like ctrl+I. Is there any specific thing I need to do before I hit alt+P? Just play as Niko and hit it?

Yes, you should only do that. Have you got patch 1.0.7.0 installed? If yes, try to reinstall LCPDFR, and if that doesn't work, reinstall the game.

BTW. P key is used for switching the blur effect/fake AA.

  • Ensure you have the correct versions of C++ and .net framework since the installer nor the diagnostics tool check the version, only that it's installed. Try to download and install the following. If they're already installed, just quit the installer.

  • Also ensure that you're running the game as an administrator. (Right Click, Run As Admin)
  • I don't know why you have the patch files in your game directory. That doesn't install them. You need to actually click the "UpdateTitle.exe" file.

Yeah, I put the patch files in there because it couldn't find GTA IV by itself, but the GMG version is 1.07 anyway. Doing a complete reinstall now, hopefully that fixes it.

Yeah, so, I reinstalled the entire game and the mod, still doesn't work. I can open up the console and it shows all the scripts there, but it just doesn't work. I can ctrl+P to "force duty" but that doesn't really seem to do anything. Is there a specific part in the game I am supposed to try this at? Do I need to download a third party program? Do mods not work with the GMG version?

All of my scripts/.dlls etc. all seem to be in the correct spot. The installer did work properly as far as I can tell, but the diagnostic tool says it isn't there. It finds GTA IV and CPU/RAM/redists are all in order, but it can't detect anything else. When I click "STart" it shows this and tells me that my installation/system isn't supported. What the hell does it mean by that? How am I supposed to figure out WHY it isn't supported when it won't show me a proper error logging?

Welp. That's stupid. I hit alt+shift+p and it works now. That is just... whatever. I don't care. Where can I make my own keybinds for the mod?
