Hi everyone,

 

I'm not able to find an actual answer to my question on the forums, so I figured I'd just ask myself and actually provide a screenshot of what I mean. I am using the StopThePed plugin, along with some others. I regularly get this notification during a traffic stop/plate check, I need to perform a VIN number check. From what I gathered from my Google searches, there's supposed to be a option for this in the context menu. Whether I am inside or outside the vehicle, whether the suspect(s) in the vehicle or out of it, there's no option for me to perform a VIN number check.

 

How am I even supposed to do it, does anyone know?

 

StopThePed has no option for a VIN check on a vehicle, only a serial number checker for weapons.

So how do I check it? Is there some kind of plugin that makes it possible?

I ran into this today, too. I think it may have carried over from the Patreon version, though I don't know the specifics. I tried to find a way too, but there was no option.

I did try some of those 'realistic questions for STP' mods, but I didn't find an option to do it in any of them. But if there's just not an option to do so yet, I guess I need to be patient!

So once I'd get the Patreon version, despite not having had a new feature in a few years, how would I check that VIN number. Do I have to do a traffic stop or do I have to be around the vehicle, any ideas?
