Start normal GTA V first. Then, once in Story Mode, tab out and launch RPH.

If that doesnt work, rename mods to _mods and try again.

i get past the initial loading screen to select online story mode etc.... it loads into story mode for roughly 20-30s and crashes. this is with the updated SHV.net you provided and with mods renamed to _mods.

Rename lml folder to _lml and try again.

If that doesnt work, remove ScriptHookV.dll and test.

_lml and _mods did nothing, removing shv works, loads straight into story mode - from memory did i not mention this? what do i do if shv is causing the problem?

Not to my knowledge.

Add it back. Then rename Scripts to _Scripts and try again.

You can rename it back to Scripts and remove them one by one to find the problem script. Beyond that, there isn't much we can do except tell you to keep it removed. Scripts have always been very picky on a user-to-user basis. Some have been able to get them working while others simply cannot.
