Slightly less dark purple text on dark-purple background is simply not functional!

On top of that Purple colours in general, should be avoided in general, because they have a tendency to 'bleed' and look 'fuzzy'
Current design is against all ergonomic guidelines.

 

I'll try and change up the highlighting a little here.

In regards to the theme, it probably isn't going to be most ergonomic anyway;

You can switch by selecting "Theme" at the bottom of the site.
