Just reinstalled lspdfr on a clean copy and when onto RPH and it said this current version  is not supported.

the error message tells you the error. You'd need to update your game.

Just looked but on steam it needed no updates 🤔

I too am having this issue. I even verified the integrity of the files, and there is no update currently on Steam for GTA V.

I fixed this on mine by downloading the manual install version of LSPDFR, and dropping all the files into the gta folder, then loaded it up and got it past that part, now i am having a issue with the GTA 5 rockstar launcher, when i click to run RPH, it opens the launcher and says "Click to open GTA 5 on steam" when i click it, RPH crashes and game doesn't load. 

I am reinstalling the game, seeing if I can find anythings. Will tell ya'll if I find anything.

I guess I'll have to do that too *sigh*

Still having this issue even after reinstalling GTA V and installing the new LSPDFR update.

Did you do manual install?
 

same problem, rage plugin hook not launching game..i have updated everything.

Reinstalled GTA V, turned my antivirus and installed LSPDFR Manual install Didnt work, said the same thing about my verision even though my game needs no updates! 

Did it on Automatic install said the same thing when launching RPH launcher. 

Please help!

I went to Steam last time and it all of a sudden started to update the game. Maybe try verifying the integrity of your files or going to Steam and try playing the game to see if it updates?

Yeah, RPH keeps closing right after it says "VALIDATING HOOK".  I was able to play for a few minutes after all the updates were installed. Then the game froze . After restarting can't get past the validating hook closure

I had this issue last night. What the cause was, was that Microsoft Defender kept on deleting some of the "tiny but mighty" files that was needed to make RPH work, and so I had to keep on having to allow the files from inside Defender. After the files were allowed though, it worked.

 

So maybe try checking Microsoft Defender and see if it "quarantined" any of the files from when you tried starting RPH.
