So, when I cross over to another island I still get Police on me? I selected unlock map from trainer but when I restart the game I need to select unlock map again. Can I make it permanently unlocked?

    Once you select unlock map Save the game. Unlock map before you turn on LCPDFR. This will prevent the police from chasing you because it registers that the map is unlocked.

    Before you Save anything via the Trainer, make sure you're in the default skin (Niko) and not a Police Officer. This will screw your game up big time.
