Youtube uploading...

Featured Replies

Hey,

Wondering if there is a quicker way to upload youtube videos... it currently roughly takes me 289 mins (Logged) for a 2:39 min video...

Thanks!

It`s either due to slow internet connection or you haven`t compressed the video file. That`s my guess anyway.

It uploads straight from the FRAPS file... What would you suggest?

Oh so the file would probably be in the Gigabytes then. Download Windows MovieMaker free of charge at their site. Or google Windows moviemaker.

Once you have got that, open it and import the raw material (fraps file) and save it as 1080 hp. This will compress it ALOT.

You can also make intro`s, picture text, passovers and end credits with this. Very easy to use.

You will see the upload time will go from 200 whatever minutes you said to around 5 min and down. It`s all about the size of it.

Well then it has to be your internet... :(

That's pretty normal. Most Internet connections have a pretty fast download rate, but a rather slow upload rate. For example, mine is around ~60Mbps down and ~3Mbps up.

Who are you with?? Every internet provider does megabits but we do Megabytes.... its really annoying but if I was to get the full one it would be about 12mbps...

Just saying my last download was 0.05Mb/s

Hong Kong 43.29 Mbps
