if run RPH it starts validation and is shutting down immediately. i can't even acces the RPH settings. no logs have been created no further information anywhere.

game, RPH and lspdfr are up to date and game was working fine yesterday. i've made no changes at all.

no issues running the game without RPH. if i load the game and start RPH afterwards i have the same issue. i'm clicking on RPH, it starts calidation for a few seconds and shuts down without any response.

 

edit: i do have an exemption for my gta folder in windows defender - so that's no solution and not the issue.

RPH also extracts content to a temporary folder to start. If RPH has been flagged by Defender again, you may need to disable your AV temporarily.

it was fine all these years including all new versions for now. this issue appeared today all of a sudden. defender is not the probelm if you consider that now a lot of people are coming up having the same problem at the same time.

problem also exits after disabling av, just tried.

I can reproduce the problem on my own system, and have filed a report with Microsoft. When Defender is correctly disabled, RPH works again.

You can either wait for Microsoft to update their definitions or disable AV temporarily during start.

i will try it again.

first retry failed again.

 

after rebooting my entire system and disabling av RPH works and modded GTA starts.
