Window Defender False positive?

Featured Replies

I've been playing LSPDFR for at least a few months, and this has never happened to me.

This kind of notification seems to pop up when I run RPH, but it's a bit embarrassing because it's the first time I've encountered this problem.

Is it false positive?

rather than relying on crappy windows defender

I don't believe so. Defender for me never made a single alert related to RPH, and never made an alert once even in general modding.

It also positives a lot of Potentially Unwanted Applications such as <a company named as number from 2 to (withheld)> software, which basically makes annoying ads and disrupt all of your activities, no other antiviruses I've used done that.

Supporting is somewhat like locating an issue, then trying to apply a protocol that would eventually guide the subject to fix their game, and sometimes, on rare occasions, trying to diagnose a weird issue with everything you know.

You've obviously never used Norton Anti-Virus 360.

new anti-virus program

I have seen million anti-viruses like "hey that is not made by big tech so we rather treat it as virus".

I have used Norton for years. For years, it brought me great pain.

Windows Defender works like a charm on my laptop.

To each their own, it has never left me any pain, I love how it works. I just don't like how windows defender works.

Also this was a reply to formal31b, not you.
