site seems very unsafe

Featured Replies

i was going to download lcpdfr from this site but it seems very unsafe many virus scanners dectced a lot of viruses now i dont think it is just a false positive becuase of the fact more than one scanner telling me and multiple  threats  for the file. is there some sort of explation for this not just a false positive cuase it seems this site has been infecting a lot of people and it would make sense becuase of how many people download it. i have seen no proof it is not a virus

(look at the threat score in the top right)

The choice to use any software here is yours and yours alone.

Generally, script and plugin modifications trigger false positives based on what they do (memory manipulation etc). Additionally, we do not use digital code signing certificates ( we do not pay for certification ) and certain scripts and plugins use obfuscation which further increase the false positive likelihood.

Yea looking into more detail the viruses it detects don’t really make sense but the only thing kinda weird is some of the code that  makes the mod says to be encoded now i know that could be for a good reason just not sure why it is like that

I can even confirm that the files on this site are safe to download and has no viruses in them. Otherwise this site would not be up for very long if the site moderators/ modders goal was only to infect peoples' computers. Hey Cyan, long time no see.
