LSPDFR and GTA V won’t launch

Featured Replies

So, my LSPDFR used to work just fine before the recent update. Updated the game, then got the new LSPDFR update, scripthook, gameconfig, rage etc GTA V will not open whatsoever. Even with the mods folder disabled it won’t launch. Here are the steps i’ve done:

-Verified integrity of game files

-Launched everything as administrator

-Disabled antivirus

-Re installed rage, LSPDFR etc with updated versions

I can not figure out why the game won’t launch. I launch through steam, then it just closes. Don’t even get to a loading screen.

So you cannot run gta alone without rph or lspdfr?

Nope, wont launch with rage or without. Tried renaming mods folder, didnt work

I have the same problem, when I click on Rage to load the UI will pop up do its thing and load and disappear and doesn't load GTA. I've tried GTA by itself still nothing. Steam shows it is running then stops. I did uninstall everything, re installed GTA 5 still nothing.

Just figured it out yesterday. Delete any filed that are related to lennys mod loader, then GTA should launch. Delete ANY file that came with lennys mod loader.

That did not work for me unless I missed a file somewhere. Deleted the LML folder and 3 modmanager files in my game folder and still no luck launching.

I have the same issue... The deletion of LML files did not work... The game is updated. Latest LSPDFR install with RPH yet game does not even start.

So I figured out how to get mine to work after earlier reply. I deleted the vfs.dll file in the game folder and then it worked fine for me other than I crash on death in game now lol.

We are getting there. Removal of that file now loads the game, but it crashes. So i now have something to work on. 🙂

Curious did you remove the other LML files as well, suggested earlier?

Where the vfs.dll and LML files are located please

My suggestion is download LML again, and look at what files are included. Delete EVERYTHING. All of those files will be in the root folder.

It is obvious that stuffs starting to break in LML each major update, the first time Digital Restrictions Management kicks in and broke it. What for this time?

Supporting is somewhat like locating an issue, then trying to apply a protocol that would eventually guide the subject to fix their game, and sometimes, on rare occasions, trying to diagnose a weird issue with everything you know.
