[REQ] POV Vehicle (fairly easy)

Featured Replies

Exactly, and it seems like he always likes to run his mouth, just like his last thread about the "POLL" of whether or not we had a default IV File. A modeler who isn't a jerk, huh? Sorry I like to take my time to work on my own projects and not spend all my time I have for modeling working on stuff for you. I don't think anyone has any idea how much time goes into a car. Its not something that can be thrown together in an hour. To take requests would take a ton of time and I've done it for a few people and its hard because your working to someone else's standard and wishes. You would not beleive how many PMs i get about custom car requests, if I honored them all I would be up to my shoulders in work. The ones I did do were people who approached me in a decent manner, not demanding a car or telling me that I'm going to do this for them like some of the PMs I get. Now I'm not saying the OP didn't ask in a decent manner, his request was perfectly fine.

Slimory said it perfectly before,

Everything you said is entirely true, inbox gets raped - yes. Requests for the smallest changes to the same models - Yes. I would get requests for an extra light here or a lightbar there. But you said it perfectly, anyone looking for a reason modders don't take requests read this^

Easy now. If I read this thread quickly, I'd think you were yelling at the OP, who has done nothing wrong.

  • you can post as meany request as you want. But until a modeler that isn't a jerk and is willing to do requests shows up you're on your own. Not trying to be a dick but it's true.

  • i never said they did. so before you go running your mouth buddy

  • What's that supposed to mean? We have lives you know.. If I have a choice whether to head out with friends or stay inside and model something for a video game, I think I, as well as other "jerk

That wasn't the intent, I'll make that clear

Not attempting to backseat moderate, but wouldn't now be a good time to lock the thread to avoid any other potential conflict?

The argument doesn't need to go any further. A comment was made by bonehead that wasn't necessary which took the thread completely off topic. Closing it wouldn't be fair to the OP, although his request is being handled. If you feel it should be closed, hit the report button....

Thats non-els and has a lightbar. I want a POV vehicle (99.9% of POV vehicles dont have lightbars). Just incase you dont know what a POV is, its a Personally Owned Vehicle, used by EMS/Volunteer and/or full-time firefighters for, well, personal responses to either the station or the scene of an accident.

I linked you to an unlocked vehicle, in case you haven't noticed, champ.

Hey cnayr how would it work if I made you a TrailBlazer with a Whelen Talon and a XT6 Traffic Advisor?

My request is being handled, thanks though.

I'm sorry to go back to this post but I have a little something to say over here.

Now, the only real "jerk" is you bonehead. We don't dedicate our whole lives just to modeling and certainly we're allowed to chose what we wish to make and what not to make, surely if you're so arrogant that we're the jerks then why not learn to put together your own mods instead of acting like a jerk?

There's enough parts and unlocked models nowadays for you to have a glorious time modding if you at least attempt to try it. So in the future stop being an arrogant child and calling us the jerks, modding can be considered a hobby and obviously someone who has no passion to make something is going to make it. Even if we were to make it then we come under criticism for the tiniest bugs within our mods which simply removes the will to make it.

If every modeler were to attend to every single request being made then they'd have no times for themselves. I'm sure no modeler would be dedicating his life to making mods for other people, even if he did then there wouldn't be enough time in a single day to do so. Try modeling for yourself (I'm not talking about slapping a lightbar on to a car and celebrating), I'm talking about the real deal of modeling and then you'll see that its not something that is easy to do.

So yes, the only real jerk here is you, not us. To end off my little speech I'd like to leave you with one thing to think about; Why do you think so many modelers release unlocked parts and vehicle models nowadays? The answer is simple, its for people that don't have the ability to make mods/models and hopefully for them to eventually learn the tricks of the trade and respect the actual modelers and modders (There is a difference between a modeler and a modder if you didn't know).
