Hi all !

 

I wanted to try the LSPD First Response mod, but encountered some problems. Unless I misunderstood how it works, I feel like I can't fully use the mod and there are a few bugs. This is my only mod, so it's not a compatibility issue.

 

So far, whether I'm on foot or in a vehicle, I only have one interface by pressing the N button (see screenshot). It seems to me that I should have something else when I am on foot. I have also not been able to use the traffic lights so far. I also cannot access the police computer by pressing A, unfortunately nothing happens.

 

I had a crash earlier and am wondering if the mod is the cause or not. I send you the file as well.

 

In case it is useful, I own the game on Epic Games and have followed the recommendations to launch everything.

Traffic lights(aka turning signal) are not included in one of the features of LSPDFR mod, you might have to install such mods or plugins like Enhanced Vehicle Actions. Secondly, you can try M and B keys. By the way, if you want to have more actions or opinions during the game, try to install some plugins.

Thanks for the information! I was convinced that I had read somewhere that it was possible to close roads with police roadblocks with N.

Never heard that before. But you can try bejojio’s ultimate backup mod. It includes Roadblock backup  and spike strip backup features, but remember to read readme or instructions (forgot what is it called) as there Ultimate backup requires some mod to make it happened.

Thank you so much ! I thought it was all included in one mod, but finally these are complementary mods.

 

I really like Ultimate Backup, but there is one detail that bothers me, the way the generated cops are handled. No matter the distance traveled, they are always present, I noticed this during a first crash after several chases. It is obviously necessary to get rid of them manually.

How long were you running LSPD:FR before the crash?

 

Closing roads is an option is the interaction menu of LSPDFR which is open the same way as it is in stock GTA. I have not used it before so i don't know how it works
