LSPDFR Forum Users,

 

              I have encountered a problem. I am new to LSPDFR so bear with me: I installed stop the ped. I have ELS as well, and no matter what key I bind it to, it does not work (i double tapped it). Stop the ped loads up when I go on duty, and I cannot make it work no matter the circumstances. I cannot open the menu. I have mapped it to an assortment of different buttons time and time again, but to no avail. I have changed LSPDFR generic key binds as well and I have double checked everything. Please help. Thanks.

unfortunately, I couldn't quite figure out what exactly wasn't working. StopThePed or ELS?

If ELS does not work, please note that you need to install "ScriptHookV". (And that also correctly...)

 

Here you can download ScriptHookV: http://www.dev-c.com/files/ScriptHookV_1.0.2245.0.zip

 

And here I have a "little" tutorial for you:

1. download ScriptHookV. (link above)
2. unpack the directory into a folder.
3. Drag the contents of the "bin" directory into your Grand Theft Auto V root directory.

 

 

 

Here are the default keybinds:

StopThePed:

• E = Ped Interact (on TrafficControll or on Foot)
• G = Controll Menu
• and so on...

 

ELS:

• CTRL + P = Open Control-Panel
• J = Turn On Light (lvl 1-3)
• 1, 2, 3 = Sirens
• L = Speciallights on Lightbar (Inidicators)
• and so on...

ELS works just fine. I have Scripthook. I cannot open Stop the Ped no matter what button I map it to. I go on duty, get in uniform, walk up to a ped, double tap E (ive tried all keys typed in the notepad capital) and it doesnt work. I try facing them. Ive gone through all keys binds for all of my callouts, scripts, and everything and made sure I did not have anything mapped to E. It doesnt work.

Where did you install StopThePed?

Otherwise I would offer you to have a look at the whole thing remotely... If it's okay for you...
Can you please also provide me with the following file?

You can find a file called "RagePluginHook.log" in your GTA 5 root directory.

You can simply attach it to your next message.

I installed Stop the ped on bejoijo's plugins. If you cant find anything from this, you can look at it remotely.

unfortunately I could not find any direct error messages about StopThePed. - So I would like to have a look at that in a remote maintenance.

 

But what we can also do right now is to uninstall all plugins from Albo1125,

because they cause error messages and can also lead to game crashes.

issue solved

Reason:

The Arrest Manager plugin has overridden the functions of StopThePed.

I got it to work by deleting Arrest Manager.
