Ridiculously Frustrating Zmodeler problem

Featured Replies

So i've been working on replacing the rims on an unlocked crown vic, something that i've done before. Everything looks great in zmodeler, but when i load it into the game, this happens:

In Game:

and then my blinking ELS taillights are messed up too:

in Zmodeler:

It kind of looks like someone tore the texture on the right taillight.

i've added screens of what it looks like in zmodeler.

Also accidentally added a picture of my dog from a year ago. Enjoy it!

Any help would further prevent me from bashing my face off the keyboard, Thank you!

I'm pretty sure there's a problem with some dummies or collisions. The dummies created in zmodeler often have buggy axes. You should also make sure the collision of the wheel and all dummies are in the right position and check if the wheel axes are centered to the wheel itself.

Go to Display>Local Axes (Click the box next to it - it's a drop down menu - and select "offset"> Center to Object and click the wheel and the center of axis for the wheel wheel will reset properly.

If that doesn't work, do the same thing except in the drop down box choose "orientation". But the first option usually works.

If it still doesn't work try resetting the axis to world in the same menu/sub menu either in offset or orientation (whichever one moves - when you see the axes move from the center of the wheel to the central location in zmodeler (the zmodeler "center of axis" also where your police.wft and chassis dummies are. THEN do the above step.

What slot are you installing the car in?

Also, what file name are you exporting it as?

Police, exporting it as Police

All the dummies and Collisions seem to be lined up as they should be,

Tried everything that aznairsoftdude suggested and nothing happened.

Multiquote doesn't seem to work with google chrome, kinda strange.

Can you show a screenshot with the wheel dummies and collision in perspective/user mode? Maybe there's something set up wrong.

How exactly have you added the wheels? Just changed the L0 and L1 or removed the old wheel and added a new one?

And btw, your parts like RearglassR or radar_console aren't set up properly, you should use dummy names actually used by the game or attach it to another existing parts, as those parts might cause errors.

I've got to go to work for an hour, but i'll get some screens up when i get back. Didn't know that about the RearglassR and Radar! the radar was there when i DL'd it, so i never thought of it. Thanks!

i'm really not sure what to do, would anyone be willing to download the file and take a look at it for me? i need a fresh set of eyes to look it over, and screenies are kind of a hassle.
