I installed a 2016 unmarked FPIU into police3 and know i need to change the metas for it so it doesnt roll. But when I load the game it says invalid model. Can I just add an entire meta for the police3 slot without crashing the game? if so, how? I know how to edit metas but i have never added a whole new one. I search for the meta for police3 and i cannot find it. I am assuming this is whats giving me the error, Just need to know how to correct it. Thank you!

Revert to your vanilla vehicles.meta and change the handling line to gresley, see if that helps any.
If your vehicles.meta doesn't have a police3 slot in it just add one in

I'll also attach a meta that has nothing done to it but the handling line and the FBI, Sheriff2 and Pranger tint fixes done

Do i just add one in anywhere in the meta file or does it have to go in a certain order

You can add it in with the other meta entries. that is in the<InitDatas></InitDatas> tags I believe, most of the file is in that. Just make sure it isn't inside another vehicles entry.

Probably find original vehicles.meta and handling in the original game files.

 

In the future. For installation replace cars, you don't need to change vehicles.meta or handling. Only in add-on case, but in most situations those files should be in archive with cars.
