Zmodeler Handling Issues

Featured Replies

Hello All,

Just curious if anyone had any insight:

After adding equipment to a vehicle the handling of it in game changes drastically. When going over a speedbump, pothole, or curb it is almost like the car just drops (if you will). It is as if the car weighs over 100 tons. I thought this could be a handling issue and have attempted to try different lines with little to no success.

I have tried digging in as far as I could go into the realm of the internet and cannot find much in terms of support. There are no issues with textures, flipping, or anything like that, and the hierarchy has been checked. The only thing I am not certain of is if the Chassis Dummies need to be corrected so that they are centered within the ZMOD world.

If that is the case - then what other axis or dummies would need to be centered within the world?

I apologize if this has been covered already but I seriously cannot find any insight on this or anything entirely explaining this issue.

Any assistance, guidance, or kind words would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Shep

Thanks,

Shepardson

Hey,

I'm not 100% certain, but moving the chassis dummy back to the default position could solve your problems.

@Sentinel55 Thank you kindly for getting back to me, I did that last night and it appears to have smoothed out a little more. The issue was with the front left wheel dummies for L1-L4 they were behind the vehicle. Just something to note in case anyone else comes across this in the future.

Thank you again,

Shep.

Thanks,

Shepardson

Good to know you were able to solve the issue. I'm creating approximately 50 different zmodeler saves a day. So many things can go wrong too fast haha
