yesterday (2/10/11) I downloaded Sgt. Kanyo's time cycle because I wanted darker nights, look cool and every thing but know my ELS light are to bright during the day I tried

• turning done the light setting in the visualSettings.dat,
  
• turning down the game brightness
  
• luminescence mod
  

​any ideas to what I can do

I honestly have no idea. However,if nothing works out, I have just downloaded a Time Cycle mod from gtainside that is amazing!!! I can give you the link if this current timecycle doesnt work out for yah

Visualsettings.dat is the file you are looking for. And in the file, you need to change "Other emmisive lights"'s brightness to a lower value. If you don't want really bright els lights, you have to change it to like 10. Right now if I'm not mistaken, it's on 50.

I didnt edit anything. However, the lightning and foggy look really grainy. The rest look really good. If you are kind of iffy about downloading it, I am uploading Episode 5 later today and I used it. It uses shaders so it is like an enb without the fps drop.

It really looks amazing with ELS.
