Black line on Caine's Merit Patrol

Featured Replies

While working on some New Alderney liveries, I've noticed that the vehicle has an odd stripe that overlaps with the livery. In OpenIV, the line on the side doesn't appear, but as the picture shows, it does pop up in game.

I have to run at low settings, could that be the issue? Any ideas?

I believe its just a natural part of the car...very common on the tahoe

From what Ive seen open IV really cant be trusted as far as accuracy on what a model may or may not look like unfortunately..sometimes it will work for checking skins/textures, but as far as modifications go, no

The vehicle can be remapped to get rid of that black line.

That's above my pay-grade, unfortunately.

I've been hoping that Ekalb would work his magic with the Merit, but Caine left it locked unlike the Vapid, so it would need more work converting the game model again.
