Texture Loss problem

Featured Replies

Hi!

I' ve got very common problem with my LSPDFR which is Texture Loss. Of course this problem has been on this forum many times, but I tried all the ways how to fix this and still nothing..

At the beginnig sorry for my bad Englisch 🙃,  I set "Main.PreloadAllModels" to false, "WorldEvents.MaxNumberOfEvents" to 0, lower resolution of all vehicles models (I lowerd most of them to 1080 px X 1080 px and I'm not sure if it's good, so tell me if I did it wrong), changed lots of setting in game, changed priority in task manager and turn off other programs.

All that solutions corrected the problem but still massive texture loss are happening when:

1. I am patrolling in the city for about 25 minutes

2. patrolling in the country for 40 minutes

3. during the pursuits when I am fast changing location

4. when i call much backup

5. when callout generates many suspects (for example: terrorist attack)

6.when I enter interior textures don't disappear but very drops their quality

Maybe some things that I installed are causing this problem? I attached text file with list of what I' ve installed (of course without RPH, LSPDFR, Script Hook etc.)

Thank you in advance for any help.

Did you disable the preload in the LSPDFR.ini? If not, set the first line to false.

Did you also recently install any car packs with the model size above 16MB?

Yep I set it to true and i have installed some cars and lower their main liverys to 1080p, so I am not sure if all of them are more than 16 mb but some of them are sure more than 16 mb.

Set it to false.

You can see the file size in OpenIV.

I' ve got only 2 textures that sizes are more than 16 mb.

Is the .ytd the bigger size? If yes, you can resize the textures.

Yes I did as I had mention in the main topic but still I have big texture loss...

Yes, but if they are above 16MB they're high-poly, which causes texture loss.

Also, can you screenshot your ingame graphic settings bar?

That's totally fine and it looks good, too.

Do you get texture loss with your mods folder renamed to _mods, too?
