I just wanted to recommend to everyone that you go and see this movie. Yesterday was my birthday and we went and saw it. It was a great movie, I've never cried during a movie but I was damn close to some tears during this movie. I don't want to say to much because I don't want to spoil it but go and see it. You won't be disappointed. Anyone else seen it yet? Thoughts?

Thanks, it came out Friday (the 21st), Its about 2 hours long but go and see it if you get the chance. I think they say F**K more than scarface but it doesn't bother me lol

Gonna try to see it, but from the trailers I've seen and ads on TV it looks like another one of those cops shoot all the bad guys kinda movies. Is it so?

You'd think so, I don't know what to call it. I am not a fan of these cop movies, but this one was really good. I do recommend going to see it.

I absolutely loved this bloody film! One of the greatest films I have seen at the cinema in a long time. There's no other film like it as far as I know; just about two regular patrol officers on the beat. If you are a cop or even have a passing interest in law enforcement, you should definitely go see it, mos def homie.

I was looking forward to it for a long time and was not disappointed. I'd say it's like a film adaptation of Southland (which is a good show, by the way), but, only infinitely better.

I loved all of David Ayer's movies, from Training Day, Harsh Times, Street Kings, and now this one. The man's a genious, I tell you. He grew up in South Central Los Angeles and served in the U.S. Navy, so he has first-hand knowledge of what makes his movies authentic. He needs to be making a movie every year, man.

I totally forgot about this movie, when did it come out exactly? and happy belated

Came out 21 September 2012. Should be showing in cinemas all across Canada.

It is one of the best movies I have ever seen. And in total, they say the F word around 325 times througout the movie. But it is a phenominal movie. I would gladly see it again and again.

Some people will get bent out of shape about the language in the movie but in my opinion, it's real. Anyone who has ever done a ride a long or knows a police officer knows that when they aren't interacting with the public, they can be quite vulgar and inappropriate. Sort of a release mechanism for the stress of the job.

The movie is excellent despite the adult subject matter which may be difficult for some to watch, it was a great film for anyone who isn't afraid of a little realism.

And on the job. When they got called to my house they were throwing F-Bombs everywhere :P

I was going to see it on sunday, but I got a bad cold the friday before, and had a cold all weekend. I still have it, but not it's as bad.

Hopefull I can see this movie soon. If not, I'll get it on DVD.

I'm defiantly going to get the DVD when it comes out. The swearing didn't bother me either since like some of you have said it adds to the realism. In the beginning I wasn't to sure if I was going to like it because of the way it was shot. He was moving the camera around so much especially during the fight and I was afraid the whole movie would be like that. Shaky camera all the time. But shortly after that it got better and didn't bother me anymore
