how long do you have to play game before you get a bigger variety of calls?

i get no pursuits or shootouts or things like that.

Make sure you have call outs enabled. To force a call out you can hit F11

It depends where your patrolling....

Unfortunately, there isn't much variety for calls in LCPDFR. The ones that exist are drug deals, muggings, domestic disturbances, shots fired, stolen vehicles and the rare shoot-out. For more variety and more realistic calls, you could try using It's designed to run as an add-on to lcpdfr, so there will be no conflicts.

to force a callout you can press Alt+F11

you can try setting your MinDelayBetweenCallouts to 160 that helped to get all the different callouts available in lcpdfr...atleast for me
