GTA IV CE + LCPDFR 1.1 crashes when get in vehicle

Featured Replies

Hi there !

I just bought a legit copy of GTA IV Complete Edition from Rockstar Game Launcher. In Installed LCPDFR Legacy Edition (I also tried with and without the fix). Game starts well, LCPDFR show me that is loaded when i use ALT+P... But, I have another problem. Everytime when i try to get a car (even on GTA IV or TBoGT), my game is crashing. It crashes when i try to steal a car in traffic and when I get into a car which is saved in front of the house.

Any ideas? Thank you !

LE: I also tried with LCPDFR 1.1 No Ads Automatic Installer (old one, not legacy edition) with and without the fix and still have the same problem. My game is clean with no other mods, except LCPDFR. And also, no other add-ons/scripts added to LCPDFR

hey brother, i found a fix for you, uninstall LCPDFR launch the game. get in car. there is something conflicting with LCPDFR and game files that is causing this. as for lcpdfr. i dont know what to do about that. with it in the game it still crashes when you get in the car, but for now uninstall it, ill try to find a fix.

I'm having the same issue, too @RukiRG I think it has to do with the new update that GTA IV just got on June 3rd, 2020.

i did find out what causes the crash with the getting in cars thing, it is LCPDFR Loader.net.dll causing  the crash, if you take it out the cars work, when its in they dont, but i have no idea how to fix the issue

Everyone wants happiness, no one wants pain. But you can't have a rainbow, without a little rain.

Really wish this would be fixed, with script hook v being down so no LSPDFR, just got the game today, tried for 10hrs to find a fix, nothing worked, so I guess I sort of wasted my money and time to find that there is no solution.

yeah same here either going into the station, or getting into a car, the game crashes @LMS

I can't reproduce this locally unfortunately. Could you guys please go to EventVwr.exe -> Windows Logs -> Application and post the errors for GTA IV?
