Already did that

so i tried to do everything it said on this support thread but still got nothing someone please help

I'm not ignoring you, there's just nothing I can do.  It's not a problem with the plugin, it's an incompatibility between the library it uses (System.Speech) and something on your computer.  It's a unique-to-you problem that I cannot solve for you.  But it almost certainly involves a driver or other software on your laptop.

thank you opus and im sorry if it looked like you weren't any help its just i wasnt sure what to do it worked great on my last laptop weeks ago before i got this one now im at that point of wondering if i made a mistake 

Very excited to try out the mod! Just really want it to work. I was having issues with my speech recognition engine - however after changing it to en-AU which I have checked is my computers preferred language it now crashes when I try to go on duty - log is attached.

Hi.  It doesn't matter what your preferred language is.  For example, I have en-AU, en-GB, fr-FR, and de-DE all installed and can use any of them.  There have been reports of issues with en-AU and en-GB, so I recommend installing en-US and trying that.

Settings > Time & Language > Language > Add a preferred language to install and make sure you check the speech recognition box.

EDIT: I've managed to fix this issue. For some reason the game only crashes if I try to load LSPDFR on launch. If I get into the game, then load lspdfr and go on duty the mod works fine. I have no idea why this works but hey, results. Thanks for your quick response Opus. I'm going to leave this here so if anyone has a similar issue they can try this out. 

 

Installed English United states as preferred language, made sure it was setup for speech recognition and made it my language for grammar police. Started game and crashed when forcing duty. Game crashed on the same line as previously.

I would really appreciate if would take a look at my log I cant fix the problem) I'm pretty sure I downloaded the mod correctly I watch your tutorial but every time I press the left Alt key I say something no response every time I even reach out for help in discord no one found the problem and my speech recognition is on by the way is there any setting I need to have on or something?  ( So Every time I  say a command I get no response)

@opus49 I have Voicemod, install in my computer and Nvidia container and mic privacy settings says that Nvidia container is currently using my mic can that be the problem?

Hi there,

 

First of all, amazing mod. I've really enjoyed using it.

However I've recently had to do some complete game reinstalls (mainly because I am crap at modding), and this most recent install I've noticed that when I speak commands like "Union-23 Responding" (my callsign) or any kind of command that shows my acceptance to a callout, it doesn't work.

 

I would like to stress that everything in my game seems to be working fine and all of my settings and plugins are identical from before I reinstalled LSPDFR when GP worked fine. Also, Calling for backup, the Code-99 call etc. also works as it should.

 

The only thing that doesn't work is accepting the callout. This I have to do manually. Dispatch, when I say I'm responding, sets my status to "En Route" as it should, however the callout never starts. Something that was working before.

 

Do you have any advice for me? I can post my latest RPH log but I'm not sure if it would uncover anything amiss. At least not to do with my query.

P.S. In (what I think is) my log, you will notice that I have restarted my game quite often as I thought this could fix it. It works when LSPDFR itself has a moment of insecurity so I thought I'd try it here...

Just another quick thing. And its not serious but more of a "I'm wondering" kind of thing...

 

I've noticed in the OP Immersive menu that there is loads of different codes. 

You know, 10-7, 10-23, 10-28 etc. I've noticed that when I use those codes GP either doesn't recognise what I say and goes "Say again", or just puts me on patrol which, if I'm requesting a ped check for example, makes no sense.

 

Is there a way of configuring these codes to work? I understand that I can modify the .ini file to my liking but I'm not quite sure how to write it out etc.

I can't really speak to Immersive Dispatch at all since it's not my plugin.

 

However, you can configure Grammar Police to respond to anything you want. You can create custom XML files to handle whatever codes you want.  Here is a video tutorial on how to create custom XML files for Grammar Police:
