Changing Lightbar Colors

Featured Replies

Hey guys, small issue I've run into.

I want to turn a lightbar into a standard amber tow / security one. I tried importing a modified emerglights.png but the model still used the red and blue texture.

Is there a lazy man's way to do this? I don't want to have to remap all the lights to amber.

Try exporting both emerglights file and open them in paint.net (or your preffered program) and change the red and blue colors into amber. To get it most right i recommend you download a car that uses amber and simply cut out the color from that vehicles emerglights files and paste onto the one you want to use. If this is what you have already done then im out of suggestions, sorry. Hope you manage to do it. :-)

It has to do with the emergencylights_emiss file on most cars. I just did this 10 minutes ago with turning a red/blue bar to red/white. If you send me the files, I'll do it for you, if you want.

I thought I saw a program to do this on the website somewhere, but I'm not really sure. There is so much stuff on LCPDFR it's hard to sort though it all.
