Well, I just want to make sure that I'm not missing out on anything: everytime there is a new LSPDFR or GTA 5 update (I get it through Steam, so updating is mandatory), I need to go through this hell of a proces to update all mods. Finding all the right pages for the mods I installed, downloading them again when there are updates and copying everthing to the right folders is real a pain....

 

Am I doing it wrong or do I miss out on something? Like, is there a tool or easier way to do it?

 

If there indeed is no tool: who's got tips on how to do it the easiest way? How do you guys do this?

As far as Vehicle/Ped's/Weapons

 

Still works great. Just keep in mind that it installs an outdated gameconfig which will need to be written over, but otherwise it makes it extremely easy to re-add any vehicles without them being overwritten by an update, especially through use of the mod's folder.

 

As far as other mods, They typically exist in the plugins folder or main folder and are *not* overwritten by updates to GTA V or LSPDFR. You may just need to wait for their dependencies to update (I.E. ScripthookV; Rage Plugin)

You can use our Mod Manager (https://www.lcpdfr.com/lml/index/) for mods that are supported. They are unaffected by an update and will not need any changes. The only package you will need to redownload will be the gameconfig.

Okay, cause with every LSPDFR update the mods stop working and I need to update them. And on every gta 5 update, LSPDFR stops working. I’ll try to figure it out with your tips! Thanks :-)

You can set your steam to not auto update... As long as you are not trying to play Online or the regular single player you don't necessarily need to update the game.

Also, make a backup with RAGE so you can revert back if you have updated the game....but again don't go Online or it will update the game.
