Will this PC I’ve ordered run LSPDFR at top spec?

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I’ve just ordered this GTA V Gaming PC from PC Specialist and I’m hoping you can tell me whether it will run LSPDFR with British mods at Ultra settings?

I've attached a specifications sheet. Thank you.

Unfortunately I think the finance agreement has ruled cancellation of the order out - certainly not without fees I imagine.   I’m not too upset, I enjoy TruckersMP too so I’ll resort to that

I'm a day late on this, but that power supply is raising my eyebrows. 350 Watts might be enough to power it all (your power hog's probably going to be the GPU and yours is gonna draw 120-160 W at peak

yes but not with 60FPS. if your CPU has Turbo Boost its a good idea to turn that on, as well as overclocking the GPU. The things that i saw that i personaly would change is the RAM, PSU,

HDD to SSD and CPU. You may not be able to change it now, one question, how much did you pay for this?

Thanks for your reply Matt. Could I run it on high settings at 60fps?

I am paying via finance but the cost for the product itself is in the range of £1,011.

YIKES, how did you find this out?

i am a PC builder myself, and so with a few calculations and part matching i found that out

honestly some Retail pc builders go and cheap out on parts and WAY overprice their Sh*t

these are some good ones that don't rip you off (i am not sponsored by these companies) 😉

Eek, I’m on a four year payment plan with this now. Oh well is all I can say. Lesson learnt.

Regardless of cost now, will I be able to get the same sort of smoothness and quality as, let’s say, Double Doppler?

I’m completely new to PC gaming so I will be looking for help to get LSPDFR set up anyway.

honestly, i'm pretty sure you can fight it. You might be able to reach 40-50 fps in max settings in county (with mods) but in the city you may get 30fps or even 20

Sorry, what do you mean when you say I can fight it? Would this PC be more suited for ultra high graphics on Euro Truck Simulator 2? It may not be something you know much about.

Thanks for all your help, it’s greatly appreciated.

You might still be able to cancel -- see the linked right to cancel on their website. The credit facility has probably complicated it a little, but this is probably something from them to sort out. They also state 'Providing the goods are unused and in a resaleable condition, you have a right to cancel any order within 14 days without giving any reason. For further details on how to cancel an order, please click here. Business customers excluded.'

It's not an awful machine, but there's a few things that are raising my eyebrow. The PSU seems underpowered for that build, and for £1,000 you should be at least getting a SSD. It doesn't really make sense to pair a X570 motherboard with a Ryzen 2 (Zen+) series CPU, these motherboards are really designed for the Ryzen 3 (Zen2) series.

exactly, my pc has a 1500w corsair psu and my power draw is only 500w. This company is definitely shady i feel like they would be the type to make fake 5 star reviews for their own company lol. Any of my builds that people buy from me are not overpriced, has a good psu, well known companies, parts that act well together and i always include a SSD.  Cyan if you don't mind me asking, what are your specs?

Thanks for your replies everyone. At the moment I’ll be prioritising the build to run ETS2 (multiplayer or single player) on ultra high graphics and I’ve also bought GTA V - I will see how the build runs the game without LSPDFR and I will install it if it runs perfectly smoothly.

Sorry guys, little update:

I’ve done a small upgrade from the Ryzen to the 2700X with a small GHz boost.

I’ve also upgraded to a 550W power supply.

Would you recommend swapping the 2TB HDD for a 512GB/1TB SSD?

yes! SSDs are a lot flaster and lasts longer.
