Hey guys, I'm struggling with poor game performance during hot action moments (multiple armed suspect with reasonable amount of police backup, like Terrorist Attack or Gang Incident). I experience lagging and frame drop.

 

The only plugin I use is Assorted Callouts (1.2.0.0). The game works just fine with or without LSPRFR. Any less invasive callouts do not interrupt the performance as well. I'm willing to keep some graphic settings lower if necessary but I would love an advice what exactly should be helpful in my situation. Check out my laptop specifications if you could.

The things it can be change if you disable vertical synchronization. I did the same and the game was significantly more fluid

Same as my work laptop, I can run reasonably well until under heavy load.

 

This isn't something you can necessarily fix, it is up to the plugin developer to make his/her plugin more stable and less resource intensive. Big events will require a lot to spawn everything in, this is always going to have a noticeable effect on your game regardless of hardware. Changes in your settings just free up a bit of extra space for the plugins to use.

I had this problem, too on my PC. I switched in WIN10 Energy Settings to top performance.

 

I appreciate all the advises but I still struggle to find a solution. This is how my memory space presents itself when all the settings are highest possible:

 

 

The quality drops but even when I free up to 1500-1600 MB of used space the lag is pretty much the same untill some of suspects get killed in action... 😕 Any ideas how to smooth things out?

This is only your video memory.

 

Your processor and RAM are also being put under load, especially if it's having to spawn a lot of stuff. Your graphics don't matter so much if the PC can't handle spawning as much as the plugin is trying to.

I see. So what can I do to put less pressure on these two?

Don't run as many plugins or scripts and try to find plugins which are well optimized. Plugins which cause big spawns (like large events) will require a lot of memory and a lot of processing power. Yes, you can decrease some of your settings like ped/traffic density to reduce some of the demand on spawning. I'd also look at what you're running in the background such as chrome, spotify etc as these require system resources.
